I love the autumnal atmosphere of the image above. The mild temperatures of autumn and the subdued sunlight appears to invite to meditate over the year that lays behind. The efforts that have been put into driving yet another year ahead and advancing in ones personal pursuits.
Might they have been happy or not so happy, strained, full of stress or successful and satisfying beyond the expectations one might have had. Autumn invites one to think, analyse and contemplate over resolved and unresolved issues. Once taken into account all the loose ends can be tied up and the emerging picture will help to understand the changes we have gone through and the process of maturing that results from it.
The photo below was taken by a friend in September 2011 … it was hot and wind-still…the last day of an Indian Summer which was intensely warm and long lasting. This was surely the most relaxing and burden free day I spend for many, many years. Thoughts popped in and out of my head as to say … you need to prepare for changes … significant changes …and I did. It was a year of transition in my life and I know I have not seen the end of it yet. So let’s see what lies ahead and enjoy the ride…!
I wish to thank all of my guests for their continued support. Many of you have been looking at this site for many month and sometimes years. The list of visiting countries is long and enjoyable. I often wonder how I could have been so lucky with so many people repeatedly looking at the site and going through the pages.
It is with close friends, loved ones and family that we form our most meaningful bonds.
